Sueños (dreams) de Oaxaca! Works on Paper - February 2012 - Paint, sketch, make prints and collages from the rich visual imagery offered in Oaxaca and its surrounding countryside. Students will work from sketchbook field studies or photos, have an opportunity to paint on location, and work in a local graphics studio creating linocut prints and monotypes. This workshop will focus on composition, and will be self paced with daily critiques and personalized instruction.

Photographing Jewelry with Dan Lipow - February 2011 - In this one-day workshop you will learn how to take beautiful photographs of your jewelry, using creative tips and techniques from a professional photographer.

Painting & Printmaking w/Kate McGloughlin - March 2011 - Paint, sketch, print, make paper and mingle with the crafts- people of San Cristobal. In this multi-media workshop we will explore imagery specific to the region, create work from sketchbook drawings and have an opportunity to make paper and prints at the Taller Leñateros Workshop in the center of town. There will be ample time to paint on location and develop other works on paper during the week as well. No printmaking experience is necessary, and only a small kit of tools will be needed. This class will be self-paced and is open to beginners as well as seasoned artists. Private and group critiques will be offered.
